What Makes Us Different?

Curriculum

Our active learning process combines hands-on exploration, creative play, and interactive activities to spark curiosity and build critical thinking in a faith-filled environment.  We understand that children learn through daily experiences which is why our Program offers a wide variety of opportunities that will help your child thrive. Our goal is to teach the whole child, meeting social/emotional needs as well as academic skills. We are confident that your child’s learning experience will be fulfilling, and we will partner with you to build the foundation of a lifelong learner.

Health, Safety

Your child's health and safety is our top priority. Your child is in the hands of dedicated caregivers who are deeply committed to their well-being. Your child's safety and happiness are our primary concerns, and we continually strive to set the standard for excellence in childcare.

We follow rigorous protocols to ensure a clean and sanitized environment. Our classrooms are equipped with child-friendly materials, and we encourage safe hygiene practices to minimize the spread of germs

Nutrition

Lake Stevens Christian Daycare and Preschool partners with the USDA Food Program. All meals are provided and prepared on-site by a cook. Menus are posted weekly so that families know what is being served.

Meals and snacks are age-appropriate and meet the food guidelines set forth by USDA. All meals are served in a family-style setting where children sit down together to enjoy the meal. We hope to develop good eating habits as well as to reinforce good table manners, all in an enjoyable and consistent format.
